Yesterday was when you walked into my life
and made my heart glow with love.

Yesterday was when you held my hand
and comforted me.

Yesterday was when your smile
made me happy.

Yesterday was when you hugged me
and made me feel special.

Yesterday was when I knew the joy of loving you.

Today was when you left me
to fulfill your life and your dreams.

But...

Tomorrow will be when you come back to me
and fill my heart with all the joys of yesterday.
